Tony -
When you put in backup offers, is it verbal or written?
what do you put for the purchase price if verbal? what do you put for the purchase price if written? does it matter?
Do work with listing or buyer's agent?
Thanks, Kim

Kim,
Back up offers are always in writing unless the agent representing you says it's not required at the moment.
Whether verbal or written no price is actually needed unless the offer is in play- meaning your getting a call from the listing agent to perform because the original offer is falling apart. Then YOU better know what to offer! Thanks, TA.

Tony - Sorry for delayed reply to thank you for replying to my post. I meant to but got distracted.
You're point is well taken - to know what to offer, market research, due diligence. At any rate, thank you.
Best, Kim

Hi Tony, Can you share with us the Back-Up offer letter you use? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately I do not give out copies of the letters we use. Sometimes I cover what's on them with the students at classes or the training that we provide. However, you don't have to think about it too much or get too sophisticated.Just use common sense. Your goal is to let the agent know that you're interested in purchasing the property should the pending deal fall apart.
Good Luck.
